THE PROBLEM
The good people of America and countries around the world are pushing back on the despicable practice of the obduction of women and children who are used as tools for profit. The kidnapping of innocent people who are ripped from their families for the purpose of forced labor and sex trafficking for profit has become a common practice. Although news media have not made this a priority, human trafficking is happeneing all over the country and world constantly! Thousands are missing from many cities in the United States.
The numbers of trafficked people who are trafficked is staggering. Organizations like the international (ILO) and the walk free foundation, along with the International Organization for Migration, released their figures for this type of modern-day slavery. The stats for 2021 indicate that approximately 27.6 million are kidnapped at forced into labor.
In America, a significant number of trafficker’s are forcing victims to work in commercial sex within the illegal and illicit industries from Hospitality, to carnivals. Traffickers have devised an intricate methodology to destroy the family, destroy one’s mental capacity and put woman on a negative trajectory in the futures. Non-profits of all over the world, and specifically in the U.S. do great work indoctrinating the victims back into society, and normalcy.
Nonprofits not only supply food, clothing and shelter, but medical, counseling career direction advice. These ‘Angels of hope’ are priceless and should be applauded from the highest mountain. Unfortunately, funding is always an issue and in high demand as these non-profits spread themselves thin trying to help the victims and their tumultuous situations. Even though trafficking stories often come out in the media about these incidents, the severity of this problem is underrepresented and does not command the attention from the public. For this reason, we have created a program called, “Angels of Hope.”
Our “Angels of Hope” program include nonprofits, celebrities, the filmmaking community, the general media, The Black Media, social media influencers, and more importantly, you. Yes, “You,” because you have an opportunity and the ability to make a difference. Your participation is critical in creating a significant awareness and helping the nonprofits by supporting out program. You can help by spreading the word, watching all of our films, and any number of other ways listed on this site. WE NEED YOU, but more importantly, the VICTIMS of trafficking need you as their “Angel of Hope.” Please take a moment to read the next section labeled “The Plan.”
